Deathly Hallows Costumes from Harry Potter

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: The Hunt Begins will be released in theaters nationwide on November 19th. The final chapter of the Harry Potter film series will be split into two parts, the first of which will be released in July 2011. The plot of this film, like the plots of the other films, is based on the novel. Here, Harry, Ron, and Hermione leave the protection of Hogwarts to track down and destroy the Horcurxes, Lord Voldemort’s secret weapon.

Of course, each time a new Harry Potter film is released, there is renewed interest in the magical wizarding tale’s clothes. And now that “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter,” a Universal Studios theme park in Orlando, Florida, opened on June 18, 2010, everything Harry Potter is hot, hot, hot! Dressing up like a Harry Potter character for Halloween, a child’s birthday party, or the Deathly Hallows premiere.

Because they have banded together to leave the compound and assist bring down Voldemort, who is out lurking in the world, Harry, Ron, and Hermione are not wearing their customary school clothes for much of the novel. As a result, outfit concepts for these characters should center on conventional adolescent clothes, with specific emphasis paid to each character’s distinct face features.

For Harry Potter Deathly Hallows costumes, jeans, plaid shirts, and jackets are a wonderful place to start. Dark hair and a pair of gold, round spectacles, as well as the renowned lighting bolt scar on his forehead, which was inflicted on him when he was a newborn, are essential for recreating Harry’s image. Hermione’s hair should be long, light brown, and wavy in a Hermione costume; as she’s become older, her hair isn’t as bushy as it previously was. Magic books and a wand are also appropriate for her costume, as she is generally the first to figure out the clues and spells. A Ron Weasley costume will look great with a red, short wig and freckles.

For the film’s villains, He-Who-Should-Not-Be-Named (aka Lord Voldemort) is a good choice for men, and Bellatrix Lestrange is a good choice for women. A dark cloak or cape, a bald cap, and white face paint can be used to create a horrific snake-like face for a Lord Voldemort costume. A Bellatrix Lestrange outfit has the appearance of a disheveled goth female. A black goth outfit with ripped fishnet stockings and a tangled long black wig will create a dark spell!
